REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCIENTIFIC PAPER EXECUTION 

 

General requirements. The article should contain 4-5 pages and be typed in the word processing application MS-Word 97–2003 *.doc (MS-Word 2007*.docx, *.docm is not accepted!!) or RTF and named according to the surname of the author. The article will be sent to the editors office in electronic form, which is identical to the hard copy, in one file and on papers A4. Text size 14 pt with single space without hyphenations. White spaces and tabulation at the beginning of the paragraph are not allowed! Characteristics of the document: all margins - 25 mm. 

It is necessary to attach to the article: universal decimal classification (UDC), initials and surname of the author (authors), name of the article, annotation (40-50 words), key words (5-6 words), references (no more than 10 sources).  At the review article - no more than 30 sources.

All the information should be presented in Russian and English. The information about the author (authors): academic degree, academic status, position, department, university, e-mail and contact number (no abbreviations) - is to be placed at the beginning of the article after the surname of the author (authors). Important information! The copyright is registered by citation of the surnames of all authors, separated by commas.

Formulas and special characters (for example, Greek letters) in the article are to be typed in the text (Menu - Insert - Symbol), type size 10 pt. Please, use formula editor Math-type 5.0 and lower for complex formulae. The length of the formula with the number should not exceed 8 cm. Tables in the article are to be typed by the standard features of MS-Word (Menu - Table - Add the table). The table should be titled and have a point of reference in the text of the article. The width of the table - 82 or 170 mm, text size - 9 pt.

Figures/pictures. Every picture should be presented in a an individual computer file (formats: *.tif, *.jpg, *.pdf, *.eps, *.ai). Do not put them into MS-Word! Pictures and diagrams should have a sharply image and in black-white colours. Diagrams, which contain a grey fill, should be changed into the lining and black-white fill. Graphs, charts and diagrams should be made in a format MS-Excel (*.doc) and MS-Word (*.xls). Also, you can use for making graphs, charts and diagrams a vector graphics editor: Adobe Illustrator (*.ai). The caption at the picture should be typed Times New Roman 8 pt. Line weight at the pictures should be not less than 0,5 pt. The width of graphs, charts and diagrams - 82 or 170 mm.

Photos from the digital camera and other bit images, which do not contain any text, should be in a format *.tif or *.jpg without flate (definition not less than 300 dpi.) Captions to the pictures are placed in the text of the article. All pictures should be numbered and have a title.

Illustrations, which are made in Paint, are not accepted, as soon as this editor does not provide the necessary quality of after the file saving.

It is forbidden to put into the article scanned pictures (charts, diagrams)!

If the indicated requirements for pictures/figures are not observed, the editors office reserves the right to delete the picture or to reject the article. 

Reference lists and endnotes are executed according to the all-Union State Standard (GOST) 7.1-2003 "Bibliographic records. Bibliographical descriptions. General requirements and drafting rules" and all-Union State Standard (GOST) 7.0.5-2008. In the reference list all materials are listed in an alphabetical order: first of all, native authors (or foreign authors, published in Russian), then - foreign ones. At the mention of single surnames of authors, they should be preceded by their initials (foreign authors' surnames are to be written in authentic transcription). In the article, the references are to be written in Arabic numerals and square brackets. Reference lists should be translated into English.

Listing order: a) author(s) of the book or the article; b) title of the book the article; c) date-line. If the writing staff includes up to 4 persons, all authors are to be mentioned (with their initials after their surnames), if there is a big writing staff, there are mentioned only 3 first authors and added "et al". If editors and draftsmen were also the authors, it should be mentioned "ed." after the surname of the last of them.

The bibliographical description of the book (after its title) includes the city (where it had been published), after the colon - the name of the publishing house, after the comma - date of publishing. If the reference is provided for the chapter of the book there should be mentioned at the beginning the authors and a title of the chapter - capitalized "In": and surname(s) of the author(s) and editor(s), then the book title and its date-line.

The bibliographical description of the article from the magazine (after its title), there should be mentioned the title of the magazine, after the full point - the year of publication, then after the full point - number of the native magazine (for foreign magazines - number of the volume), after the capital letter "P" with the full point there are given the first and the last number of pages (with a dash) and a full point.

At the end of the article, there should be a text "the article is published for the first time", date and signature of the author (authors). The signature of the author is scanned, saved in the format *.tif or *.jpg and put into the file.

The author (authors) bears responsibility for scientific and factual mistakes and inaccuracies. Received materials can not be surrendered.

The article, which has a low-quality translation and/or the translation, which was made by an electronic interpreter, will be rejected.

The editors office does not make any translation.

The editorial board reserves the right to steamline and edit the article. Articles, which are not executed according to the indicated requirements, are rejected without overview.
